Converging Lines
This photo is using converging lines because the trail goes straight and it brings my focus down the middle. The reason why this is a nice picture is because the lines bring my eyes into the depth of the photo making it symmetrical. |

Diagonal Lines
This picture is displaying diagonal lines. This is a nice picture because our love diagonal lines that lead from the bottom left corner to the top right corner. The lights make it easier for the viewers eyes to follow where the bridge goes which makes it a nice photo. |

2 Multiple Principles
Rule of Thirds and Sharp Objects (Focus)
This is a picture uses two principles. Sharp Objects (focus) and Rule of Thirds. The photo is on the star and the rest is blurred out. The reason why the photo is blurred out is to add attention to the star. The other principle is rule of the thirds. The star is in the bottom left third of the photo which brings the viewers eyes down along to the subject. |

1 Photo That Breaks the Rules
Horizon and Rule of Thirds
This photo breaks the rules of Horizon and Rule of Thirds. The horizon is directly in the middle which breaks the rule of horizon and the tree and the moon break the rule of thirds. The horizon should be along the top or bottom thirds and the tree/moon should be along the left or right thirds. The reason why this is still a good picture is because of the mood of the photo and how things are positioned. |
